Frequently Asked Questions
What's my approach?
I am there to document real moments. It's what I do best and I am very hands off for 90% of the day. You will see me every now and then but I mingle like a guest and I am always ready to capture a moment before it happens.
During your couple portraits I am a little different. As you will notice in my photo's, people look relaxed and natural and I achieve this by giving simple direction to create natural moments between you. Nothing is forced and we look for places with nice light or interesting backgrounds although ultimately it's the moments between you that make the photo unique.
What are the deliverables?
You receive as many images as I feel make the cut, edited in my own editing style, in high resolution with no watermark. You can view and download these pictures easily, print in any way you like and share with family and friends. You also receive a nicely presented USB box as a keepsake.
Do I need a list of pictures to take?
Nope! We meet up about 6 weeks before your wedding where we discuss the day. Before this meeting, I will email you a questionnaire where I ask for a small list of family set ups. I will offer recommendations about what people tend to do. I try to keep this list small as let's be honest...formal set ups are boring but I understand these are important. Some of my favourite pictures from my wedding day are of the formal family set up.
How much is the deposit?
A non refundable deposit of £300 is payable to own the date.
How do we book?
After you have seen my pricing and are happy to go ahead and secure the date, I will send you a formal proposal and contract with details for paying the deposit. Simples.
Do you offer albums?
Why yes I do! In this digital age it's easy to forget about how beautiful pictures look when they're displayed on fine art paper in a gorgeous leather bound album. You can see my albums here
