Choosing a photographer is one of the most important wedding details. The day will be over before you know it, and the photographs taken of you, your family, and your friends are all that will remain. If captured well, the images will transport you back to the fleeting moments of the day, ensuring you never forget any details.
If you are reading this, you are likely becoming quickly familiar with how foreign, complicated, impersonal, and stressful the whole wedding planning process can be. My goal is to make the photography aspect as easy as possible. After photographing over 450 weddings, I fully appreciate what goes into each day and the importance of having images that reflect just how incredible your day was.
I love to learn about exactly who you are and what you have planned so that I can provide you with a bespoke quote, without charging you for anything you don't want or need.

I specialise in crafting bespoke packages tailored to your unique plans and needs, ensuring a concierge level of personalised attention and support throughout the entire photography process. This includes tailored consultations, unlimited correspondence, expert advice, seamless coordination with other wedding vendors, and assistance when selecting and customising albums or prints.
I believe the best wedding photography is taken in the moment, naturally. A mix of editorial and documentary. It's not about me, it's about you, and I want you to be able to spend the day celebrating with your friends and family, not worrying about having to do cringe-worthy poses or stressing about whether certain elements of the day are being captured or not."
HOW PRICING WORKS
All quotes are bespoke and tailored to you based on what I learned about your plans during our call or discussions with your planner.
You and your plans are not generic, so a generic package isn't going to be the best fit. We ensure we are giving you what you need and not charging you with hours and extras you don't want. It's hard to give an estimate but as a guide, for a typical full wedding day coverage, the average wedding booking sits between:
£3000 - £7000
(a typical wedding day coverage is approx 10 hours)
The main factors are No. of Hours of Coverage needed, No. of Shooters needed, Travel Costs & any extras (Express Delivery, 35mm Film, second shooters etc)

Bespoke Package Design:
Whether we meet via a video call or in-person, our process ensures that your photography experience and deliverables are completely tailored to your unique vision, wants and needs. By carefully considering your individual preferences, desires, and expectations, we create custom packages that perfectly align with your plans.
Concierge Service & Unlimited Correspondence:
We make sure our service offers personalised attention and unlimited correspondence throughout the entire photography process. From the initial consultation to the final delivery of your images, we provide expert guidance, prompt responses, and seamless communication every step of the way.
Ross Alexander as your Lead Photographer:
If you are booking me, you are getting me. I do not send out any of my assistants/team to cover weddings under my name. I have a high standard for my work and pride myself on being the person who turns up on the day to keep the quality at the level I hold myself to and keep the style consistent.
All images edited & colour graded:
Each and every image I deliver is professionally edited and color graded to ensure consistency. I keep the colour grade natural as I want the images to be timeless and not age when different trends come and go. I emulate classic tones that look as good now as they did when they first came out.
A mix of both colour and Black & White edits:
Your wedding gallery will include a mix of color and black-and-white images. There is no exact number I stick to for B/W vs Colour imagery, but as a rough estimate it’s usually an 85/15 ratio. With 85% of the final images in the gallery are in colour while 15% are selected to fit better in Black/White.
A minimum of 600 images but often much more:
For a typical 10 hour day, I aim to deliver around 60 images per hour but this is often a much higher number. I take many pictures and rack up an impressive step count on a wedding day so you will not be short of images from your day.
A preview within 48 hours:
I understand the excitement of wanting to relive the magic of your wedding day as soon as possible. That's why I offer a preview within 48 hours, providing you with a sneak peek of your celebration's highlights. This special feature allows you to enjoy and share a selection of your wedding images almost immediately after the event.
Images presented in a private online gallery:
Your wedding images will be delivered through a private, secure online gallery, making it easy to view, download, and share your cherished memories with friends and family. The online gallery will be password protected so not just anyone can get the link and view them. The gallery also serves as an additional cloud backup.
Images delivered within 6-8 weeks:
My commitment to prompt and efficient delivery ensures you'll receive your complete wedding gallery within 6-8 weeks. This guarantee means you can relive and share your memories without delay. Prolonged delivery periods are quite commonplace in this industry but I have never missed a deadline.
Option to have images printed and sent to your door:
My personalised online shopping experience allows you to conveniently order high-quality prints and custom products directly from your online gallery. If you believe that images don't just belong stuck on our screens, we have several high-end products designed to enhance the value of your images.

The next step is to set up a quick meeting. It's not going to be super formal, just an opportunity for us to get to know each other, for you to ask questions, and for me to hear more about your plans and make sure we are a good fit.
I’d love to know that my approach and philosophy align with your vision and expectations. There are lots of amazing photographers out there and if I get the feeling we aren't aligned I can provide some referrals for some options more suitable.
I believe the connection you have with your photographer will not only have a big impact on the kinds of photographs you will receive but also on your experience with having them taken on the day.

ROSS, WE LOVE YOU. HOW DO WE SECURE YOU FOR OUR WEDDING?
Great! The next step is making it official. All bookings are confirmed after agreeing to the contract and receipt of a non-refundable booking fee of 20% of the package cost. This goes towards the final balance which is split over 2 payments. 30% of the total cost due 6 months before the wedding and the remaining balance is due 1 month before the wedding date.
Photography is a personal thing. I love the feeling of being trusted with couples’ memories of their wedding day so I want to be on top of my game and be as fresh as I can be for your big day. I’m there all day and I give my all to make your experience memorable.
